Sea Leveaux developed a visual identity inspired by the Cajun culture of the southern United States, built through illustration, lettering, and brand storytelling — combining humor, theatricality, and a deliberately exaggerated aesthetic.
The project began with the creation of an expressive visual universe, drawing references from 1950s and 60s American commercial lettering, the culinary traditions of New Orleans, and an aesthetic connected to excess, music, and the collective experience of sharing food.
The identity introduced a seahorse as the central character of the visual system — a figure inspired by French references tied to the region’s cultural heritage — functioning as a narrative host within the brand.
